COMPENSATION:
- $90,000 to $125,000 Base Salary, depending on experience

This multi-site healthcare system has been serving the greater Wickenburg area for more than 20 years, providing a variety of primary care and specialty services in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Their offerings include, but are not limited to, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care, surgery, oncology, orthopedics, podiatry, urology, and much more.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new Medical Imaging Manager will report to the Chief Operating Officer and have responsibility for leading and managing the daily activities for all imaging modalities and support areas.
The Manager’s primary responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, such as:
- delivery of care
- staff management
- capital, revenue, and expense management
- equipment oversight
- quality and performance improvement management
More specifically, the Manager will have responsibility for all imaging department functions, to include but not be limited to:
- develop, maintain, and enforce policies and procedures
- ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and governmental requirements
- administer accreditations through appropriate agencies
- hire and mentor imaging department staff
- provide staff with orientation, training, education, coaching, and competency validation
- function as a super-user and trainer in hospital EHR, RIS, PACS/VNA, EWS, etc.
- coordinate with relevant departments to maintain imaging chargemaster and compendium
- maintain a thorough knowledge of coding and compliance
- manage QA programs and maintain records to conform to all applicable regulatory agencies
- provide leadership in process improvement
- implement and maintain a quality management system
- establish and assure quality and efficiency standards
- analyze and report statistical information; act when appropriate
- manage supplies, assets, equipment, and service agreements
- find best solutions with vendors
- maintain communication with hospital supply chain management
- work to reduce costs / expenses while finding opportunities to increase revenue / volume
- participate on internal and external work groups, committees, teams, and agencies
- routinely meet with ordering providers to address any imaging concerns
- develop relationships with professional affiliations, organizations, and others
- market department’s services to increase volume and reputation
- participate in community events and speaking engagements as needed
This position is also a working manager role that requires the new Manager to provide coverage within the department when needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Healthcare Management, Administration, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years management experience in a medical imaging department
- Radiological Technologist license through Arizona Department of Health Services
- Registered CT Technologist through Arizona Department of Health Services
- Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) preferred, not required
- thorough knowledge of imaging modalities
