SCHEDULE:

- Limited On-Call (negotiable)
CLINIC HOURS:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00am to 5:00pm
COMPENSATION:
- $140+ per Hour, negotiable based on experience

COMPANY PROFILE:
This community health center (FQHC) opened in 2011 and currently employs 20+ physicians across a variety of specialties - pediatrics, ob/gyn, infectious disease, orthopedics, behavioral health, podiatry, pain management - as well as full-scope primary care. They operate 4 clinics in the Lancaster area, with a robust support staff of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other clinical and administrative team members. They are currently hiring new providers due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new physician will provide comprehensive medical services for patients of all ages.
Depending upon type of appointment, patient need, and provider preference, physicians see between 20 and 30 patients per day, with the support of a dedicated clinical assistant.
Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- evaluation and treatment of patients
- care plan management
- preventive health maintenance
- assessment of acute needs
- chronic condition management
- review of laboratory / other test results
- initiating specialist referrals
- participating in care team, provider, and staff meetings
The practice uses the Epic EHR.
REQUIREMENTS:
- California medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Family Medicine
- no experience required
