COMPENSATION:
- Negotiable Sign-On Bonus
- $350,000 to $650,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The gastroenterologist will work in a collaborative, dynamic environment with an integrated, multi-disciplinary outpatient care team including other physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, RNs, LPNs, and medical assistants. This includes scribes and non-clinical staff to perform administrative tasks, ensuring physicians are able to focus solely on patient care.
This position will also work in conjunction with and have access to the organization’s GI hospitalist group.
General duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- comprehensive outpatient gastroenterology care
- diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care
- preventative care
- health maintenance counseling
Providers see a variable number of patients per day, based upon patient needs and types of appointments scheduled.
The organization uses the AthenaHealth EHR.
REQUIREMENTS:
- New York medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Gastroenterology
- no practice experience required
