COMPENSATION:
- $450,000 to $500,000+ Annual Income
- $300,000 to $325,000 Base Salary

Please note that this position begins with a 6-week training and orientation program in Dallas, Texas.  Training is fully paid and all expenses are covered.


COMPANY PROFILE:
This vascular medicine organization opened its first clinic in 2020 and, today, operates 8 offices in Maricopa County.  In the north central Phoenix office, they boast a provider staff of 2 talented physicians, 3 nurse practitioners, 1 registered nurse, and 1 registered vascular sonographer.  Together with their support team, these clinicians offer vein disease services in comfortable, modern settings focused on excellent patient experiences.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position is a combination Medical Director and Clinical Physician role, with 10% of work hours allotted for administrative time and 90% of work hours dedicated to patient care.

The Medical Director will join a team of 2 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers, who are supported by registered nurses, vascular sonographers, and other support staff.

On procedure days, physicians typically perform 3 procedures per hour.  On clinic days, physicians see an average of 12 patients per day.

Once the new physician is established and comfortable adding a team member, the practice will hire an advanced practice provider to partner with them.

Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

- radiofrequency ablation
- sclerotherapy
- Varithena
- Venaseal
- consultations
- follow-up visits
- lead and support clinical quality
- facilitate provider collaboration
- help ensure the continued growth of the practice

The practice sees patients for, among other conditions:

- venous insufficiency
- varicose veins
- spider veins
- restless leg syndrome
- leg swelling
- leg heaviness

The practice uses the DrChrono EHR and state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment.


REQUIREMENTS:
- Arizona medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification or Eligibility, relevant field
- strong background and interest in performing procedures
- previous administrative experience or experience leading a small team
